7 months

Easton is now officially 7 months!

He has mastered sitting up and now trying to stand. He loves to jump and be active and he's very curious! What ever I have in my hand he goes for! He still has two teeth, but we are just waiting for those other two to come in, it seems like it should be any day now . He's eating food 3 times a day, sweet potatoes and pears seem to be his favorite! He has said "da da" and loves to ramble and make lots of noise.

We just love him to pieces and can't believe how sweet of a baby he is!

Happiness is.....

Happiness is spending time with you baby at the park on a sunny day, going to a stroller workout class followed by a lunch/play date with a great friend. Happiness is coming home and snuggling and waiting for daddy to get home to see the big smile on my son's face and giggles his dad gets out of him. Can you tell we are having a blast with life lately?!?!?

Passed out on the way home from the park (yes I know he is still in his pj's we walked down there EARLY!) Easton has decided wake up time is around 6 now....

Oma

We went and visited Justin Grandmother Saturday and went on a walk ad had lunch. She is quite smitten with Easton- he's her first great Grandchild! It was so fun, she is honestly one of the nicest ladies I know. As Justin says, "she has never said a bad thing about anybody"! Definently someone I aspire to be more like!

High Chair

I finally bought a high chair yesterday and Easton loves it! I had been feeding him in the bumbo on the kitchen counter and it was time....

I got the Chicco Polly magic, its awesome I highly recommend it! Easy to get him in about out, easy to clean too!

Baby Shoes

After getting lots of cute baby shoes as gifts and buying some too I have realized one of Easton's favorite games is trying to get his shoes off! So, many of the pairs just don't work and aren't worth the hassle....until I found pediped's! I am obsessed!

 I just bought these for summer sandals, love them!

They are super cute and they stay on!

Baby Bullet

So for a baby shower gift I received a baby bullet! It's fabulous and it makes making baby food a breeze!

Here are my pictures, making zucchini

Easton is now getting really into food! He likes: apples, pears, bananas, mango's, sweet potatoes and oatmeal.
He doesn't like: avocado, zucchini and peas- all green things! I slip small amounts of these into the sweet potatoes though and he doesn't seem to notice.
I absolutely love making baby food and it's so easy and it makes me feel good that my babe is getting fresh food, not jarred stuff that sits on the shelves and has a shelf life of 3 years!

We've been busy!

Life just keeps on getting better! Although I kinda miss that newborn stage, Easton is so much fun right now!

He loves the johnny jump up- he'll sit in it for about an hour and its right in my kitchen so it's great for when I am cooking and cleaning! ( I couldn't even get a picture of him sitting still!)

He's becoming a regular at the park, he loves the swing, going down the slides and just about anything there in general. I think as the weather gets nicer we will be spending more and more time there!

 We went to a wedding, it was lovely. It was during Easton's nap time so that was a little dicey. He didn't last long but that's okay we kinda wanted to leave anyways!

 He loves riding on dads shoulders- or mine for that matter. Although he pulls my hair so hard while doing this that I rarely put him up there.

 My step dad was in town for Easter so we went to their house and had brunch with him, my sister and her friend. It was a great day!

We visited my sisters 3rd/4th grade classroom, went to recess and hung out. It was so fun, the kids were all over Easton, sang him songs, read him books. He had fun and it must have exhausted him because he fell asleep the minute we got in the car and he took a nice long nap!

We are doing stroller strides ( a workout class with the stroller) and just went to baby music class which was a blast! This and lots of playdates we are keeping busy and having lots of fun!
