5 months and 2 teeth!

My sweetie is 5 months today and I was too lazy (okay tired) to take pics this morning.... I plan on it tomorrow! I have had a nasty cold since Friday and Easton hasn't been sleeping great, so I am struggling a bit. Taking care of a baby when you're sick is SOOO much fun! Thank you mom-friends for telling me about that!

Milestones and favorite things....
Easton has 2 teeth- the front 2 bottom ones
He has still only rolled over a few times, he's perfectly content not rolling over.
He hasn't slept through the night in the past month! He goes down around 7 and is up at 2 like clockwork.
He loves books and being read to
He loves to shred magazines
We tried food but he didn't seem into it, will try again in a few weeks after we get back from Hawaii
He loves to sit up and wants to pretty much all the time
He responds to his name!
He has a few girlfriends at the gym daycare ;-)
Everyone that meets him comments on how chill he is and how big his lips are!

So here are my guys reading, Justin reads to him every single night. It makes me ridiculously happy!

Health and Happiness

I didn't really make a New Years resolution but I am totally focusing on just being Healthy and Happy. I honestly think these have to be the 2 most important things for me right now. So far I am off to a good start. There have been a few people in my life who have brought my happiness down but I am just going to have to get over it because I truly am at one of the most happiest stages in life and I don't want anyone to ruin that.

Happy Birthday to ME!

That's right I turn 33 today! And for the first time ever I can't even think of what my birthday wish is going to be because I honestly have everything I have ever wanted in life, that feels really good! After a horrible nights sleep (Easton got a tooth on Valentines day-his first tooth and he's been a little crabby- so I think that's why he was up so much)....but we shopped today, bought lots of clothes for myself (mainly for our Hawaii trip) and some stuff for Easton for Hawaii (swim shorts, sunglasses, hats etc). Then we took a nap together which I LOVED and NEEDED!  Now Easton is in the front pack b/c he is obsessed with being held lately! This is what we look like right now...

Tonight we are headed to a pub for early dinner/happy hour! This restaurant has great HH menu and you can bring kids, so Easton, Justin, my sister and 4 of my girlfriends (and one daughter) are going. Should be fun! Bring on the champagne and cake please!
My step dad Eric was in town yesterday and stopped by for a quick visit, Easton was a little cranky but I'm sure Eric still had a good time seeing him.

Easton's new favorite spot to play while I cook! He takes out every spatula, spoon etc and tries to throw on the floor, he loves it!

Heart Breaker

Happy Valentines day! I hope my boy doesn't break any hearts one day, but I am sure he will. I think we all have!

Hiking

We went for a hike today and it was wonderful! Easton was a snuggled up in the Ergo and took about a 45 minute nap! Such a great day for a family hike!

Crack Crackers...

These are to die for, go buy some ASAP, you'll thank me later! Gluten free, low cal, so freakin delish, I addicted!

Shoes

I have no idea why but I had yet to put shoes on Easton and the other day I decided to break out his black converse. They could NOT have been any cuter on him and he just stared at his feet for so long, it was so cute!

Thanks Auntie Camille for the shoes, we love them and he has been sporting them everyday!!!
