I'm excited to finally be 30 weeks and out of my 20's. I have a super fun week planned too. This is my LAST week of work, I am officially a housewife starting Friday :-) here is a belly pic, baby is measuring BIG 93rd percentile big...hoping he just went through a growth spurt and will slow down a little. Dr. said since Justin and I were both 9+lb babies that is why, and I will most likely just have big babies....sigh. Did I mention my husband played football and his head was so big they had to custom order him a helmet, dear Lord!
My co-workers are throwing me a 'retirement' party Thursday night at Salty's on the River. My step dad (whose company I work for) is even flying up for it! They asked if I wanted a baby shower and I said Hell No I want a party at a bar and if people want to bring baby gifts to it, that's fine! (Plus most of the people I really like that I work with are guys and I know they wouldn't come to a baby shower!)
And my sister is throwing me a baby shower brunch this Saturday with girlfriends at my house! My friend Gretchen and my mom are even coming into town for it, I think about 20 people are coming, lots of food and mimosas will be consumed!
Still feeling good- getting a little tired in the afternoons but not too bad. I toss and turn a lot when I sleep but still getting good sleep. Weekly massages have helped any sore muscles I have had :-)
Craving- Navel oranges and peanut butter and jelly sandwiches! Must have both every day!

Wall Decal...Opinions Please!
Okay so I may pick whichever wall decal I want anyways, but I'd love to hear your opinions about which one you like the best, I am having a hard time deciding....I am going to have it done in Navy Blue (since the baby's bedding is Navy/White) and put it on the wall above the crib...I found all these on Etsy if you are wondering, such a great website! Let me know what you think!

Gay Marriage
I rarely get political and I don't feel super strong about most things but Gay Marriage to me is a civil rights issue I could care less who gets to get married. This sign was taken at a Cafe in NYC and a friend posted it on facebook and I had to share, its so funny!

Baby Shower Weekend!
I had such a wonderful weekend with 2 baby showers, and my mom and step sister Chrissy came to town to help celebrate! Saturday my MIL Mary Ann hosted a shower for me with family from Justin's side, some from my side and a few friends. It was a perfect shower complete with perfect decor, awesome food, great company and lots of gifts!
Then Sunday night my step dad Eric's sister had me over for a dinner and more baby shower fun! There were aunts and cousins' from that side of the family, it was a ton of fun! This cute baby shirt hung on the door that said "party at my crib 2am" so sweet!
And you'll notice I finally posted a prego picture of myself, I don't love how I look pregnant so I haven't been posted lots of pictures, but here one is finally at 26 weeks. So stop asking! ha!

WORK....
I resigned! My last day of work is July 29th! I will have 2 months (give or take) until baby Easton arrives and I am so happy about that. Let me explain.... my job is outside sales, I run around Portland and walk properties, go into garbage enclosures and crawl up drop boxes etc... doing this is pretty physical and doing this in our hottest 2 months (August and September) 8 and 9 months prego would just be unbearable. Trust me if I had an office job I would work longer but that is simply not the case. Plus since I am planning staying at home with Easton I just feel like I didn't want to leave my work hanging so I just told them Friday!
This is so exciting and so crazy! I have never not worked and I have supported myself for the past 10 years so this is a huge change for me. I look at is as more of a career change though because I understand being a stay at home mom is tough... so I have no delusions that I will be shopping, spa-ing and relaxing all day. Can't wait to see what the future holds for me!

Vacation Week
I have had the last 9 days off which was so nice and relaxing! No phone ringing all day, no emails constantly buzzing no rude customers to deal with, I loved it! Justin had a hunting trip planned so I took the week and drove down to my mom's in Sacramento with my dog and relaxed. We got massages, facials, did Pilate's, went on walks, ate good food and I slept a lot. I loved every second of it! I truly enjoy my mom's company and so that made it even more special! But coming home to my man was amazing too, we really miss each other when we have time apart....
The baby kicks are getting stronger although I haven't felt it with my hand yet, I am hoping in the next few weeks I will! I am getting bigger too that's for sure, I need to take a pic and post it on here of my belly!
We decided on a name ...... Easton Patrick. We just love the name Easton, its different but not weird different and Patrick was my dads name so that was a no brainer. So I love calling him by name now it makes it even more real that there is a human being in there rather than a little being who sucks all my energy and makes me toss and turn all night (along with other symptoms). My mom and sister have seriously bought this boy enough clothes for his first full year its really sweet. I have 2 showers coming up and I can only imagine how many clothes I will get! We ordered our furniture for his room yesterday and I can't wait for that to come so I can start putting things together!
Justin had a successful hunting trip, he shot a black bear! He is so excited, and yes we are getting a bear rug for our house (or garage) and it will take 9-12 months to get here (thank God) so I have some time to digest the fact that this rug is going to be in my house.....
