Waste Connections is moving its corporate office to Houston TX...so therefore my Mom and Step Dad are moving there! I'm excited for their new adventure but I'm selfishly sad. It has been hard having my mom live in California for the last 4 years but since its just Sacramento we still saw eachother a lot. She would come up and I went to visit alot. Houston is not going to be easy or cheap to get to, but I have never been to Texas and Justin and I both are dying to go! They are moving in February- so soon!
Here is a video of The Woodlands- the area the office will be in and where my parents live...It really looks like a great place to visit! The Woodlands on You tube
Since they still have a home in Vancouver they will be back often, my mom says she'll be here in July-August and for December....but I hope Eric will retire someday and they'll be here even more. Espcially when I have another baby I will so need my moms help! And I of course want them to play a big role in my kids lives!

War in Iraq.....
"Overnight the war in Iraq officially ended after 9 years, 4476 US Military deaths, and 800 Billion Dollars"
This is good news I think! I feel so disconnected to what is going on, I don't know 1 single person that was sent over there or that died, got injured etc...So it almost doesn't feel real to me. But I know to the families that lost a brother, son, mother, father, husband, wife the war felt very real and I am sure life will never be the same for them. I don't know what we were really doing there for 9 years, I can't wrap my brain around how we spent 800 billion dollars but what I do know is that I have so much respect and am so Thankful for these amazing men and women that have sacrificed for me. THANK YOU!!!!!

Tis' the Season!
Christmas is in full swing at out house! My shopping is almost done, we've seen Santa, we've gone to a few parties and still have a few more! Tonight me and the girls are decorating cookies- I volunteered to make the cookies and did this morning, I feel like its my duty as a SAHM to do stuff like that for my working friends! Got my Holiday cards out, my friend Desi took a few photos of Easton for me I used the first one on the card:
This really captures his personality- just totally chill! (unless he's hungry-then he can be a bit of a beast!)
Easton has been sleeping 8 hours a night for weeks now, then it crept up to 9 and last night it was 10! I actually woke up and had to pump because I was in so much pain! Then I just waited for him to get up, I was excited for him to wake up because I missed him. We have such a good time together playing, reading books and just smiling at each other I was excited for our day to start.

Things I Love
I am going to copy my friends Chrissy's blog because I just read her fabulous new blog post about all the things she loves. It was so fun to read and it makes me feel like I just hung out with her and talked! I am not going to write about the things I love about my son and husband because those are just to obvious...I am going to write about myself, what I love. I use to be just a single girl with a career and that was so much of my identity that is now all about being a wife and mom. So here we go.....
I love Country and Christmas music. I love talking about celebrity gossip with my girlfriends. I love a really good turkey sandwich. I love greeting my husband at the door when he gets home from work. I love people who don't give a damn about what others think and do what they want. I love the feeling of having a glass of wine after a hard day. I love the feeling I get at the gym while working out and I love the feeling of satisfaction I get when I am done. I love the smell of Cinnamon. I love that I'm a blonde. I love older ladies that wear cheesy Christmas sweaters. I love getting advice from my Aunt Brenda, she is always spot on. I love getting massages, pedicures and just getting pampered in general. I love the smell of my sisters house. I love walking into my moms house no matter where she lives it always feels like home. I love talking on the phone to someone I love while driving somewhere. I love hearing how couples met. I love watching someone fall in Love- the glow they have makes me so happy! I love hearing someone I love is pregnant, getting married or just anything good happened to them. I love the sense of independence I feel going to a movie by myself. I love guys who shave their heads. I love thinking about what my Dad would say when I have a dilemma come up in life. I love looking at pictures and trying to remember what I felt at that moment. I love looking at pictures of my childhood and just trying to remember that moment. I love watching the Real Housewives- all of them. I love cooking shows and Top Chef. I love to bake for people I love. I love to cook dinner and kinda follow the recipe but not totally just to see what happens. I love to having friends and family at my house. I love spray tanning and I love talking to people who also love spray tanning about it. I love the way high school gyms smell during basketball season and I love the squeaking noise shoes make on the hardwood floors. I love the smell of fresh cut grass. I love football. I love the first sunny day after weeks if not months of rain. I love keeping in touch with people who I haven't seen in years and just hearing about what they are doing. I love people who give back. I love teachers. I love the way elementary schools smell. I love Mexican food. I love small towns. I love looking at houses online and fantasizing about my dream house. I love being home alone, sitting on the couch looking at catalogs. I love going to the Zoo and I really love Sea otters. I love the beach when it's cold outside, even rainy. I love the Mall and I really love it during the Holiday Season- for some reason it just really gets me in the Christmas spirit! I love Target. I love College Campuses. I love that I was in a sorority. I love meeting my friends kids for the first time. I love hearing what kids ask Santa for. I love San Francisco.

2 Months and Santa
Easton is now 2 months old! I know everyone says time goes by so fast and it does but I also can barely remember life without him now. He fits so perfectly into our lives and it feels like he completes us.
So we saw the Dr. today and did 2 shots- going back in a few weeks for more because I wanted to split them up....He cried bloody murder and is not happy tonight but very sleepy-hence me being able to blog...
New favorite things: wubbanub (thanks Coffey for the idea), smiling and coo-ing and laughing and I swear he watches my mouth and tries to mimic me and talk!
New dislikes: Santa and getting shots- okay this just all happened today but that's all I can think of right now!
So Justin took the day off and came with us to the Dr and to go see Santa. We grabbed lunch too and went and did some shopping, it was a really fun family day!
He's now sleeping 8 hours a night which is awesome! Making my life easier for sure. He currently weighs 13lbs 10 oz and is 24 inches tall! All around the 85th percentile. Except his head is still huge measuring in the 97th percentile. But the Dr. said everything looks good and he is the "perfect" weight for his height.
Life is good at The Bors House, getting excited for the Holiday festivities/parties that all start this weekend. Also going to start baking this weekend- fudge, butterscotch drops and Holiday M&M cookies! (I'd like to know why red and green M&M's taste soo much better than the regular ones?!?!!?)
